SCRIBBLES AND QUIBBLES

As much as I like the prints from my first few weeks at Brighton, they are not really what I’m about - well not at the moment anyway. So here are a few pages from my sketchbook.

For the last few months I have been looking at the strange way our commuting culture allows us to go against our core primal instincts. Often on trains and tubes commuters will fall asleep surrounded by complete strangers. This in itself goes against our pre programmed psychology. To fall asleep, we must entrust our surroundings completely and in a society paranoid to the extreme, this cultural normality contradicts the social mistrust paramount to city culture.

So thats the technical blah out of the way. I just am fascinated by drawing and people. Especially when those people don’t know I’m doing it. Creep.
